At Yotoco Lodge, we offer birding tours ranging from 4 to 15 days, taking you on an extraordinary vertical journey through one of the most biodiverse corridors on the planet. Starting from the steamy Pacific lowlands of the Chocó bioregion at just 200 meters above sea level, rising through the lush forests and coffee-scented slopes of the Western and Central Andes, and sweeping across the agricultural mosaic of the Cauca River Valley, our tours cover an altitudinal range of over 3,000 meters — from 200 to 3,200 meters above sea level — within a single Colombian department.

This dramatic gradient means that in the span of a single tour, your bird list can grow from Chocó endemics and Pacific lowland specialists to high-Andean hummingbirds, tanagers, and páramo birds — ecosystems that on any other continent would require crossing entire countries.
